1. SURVIVOR ADVOCACY & NAVIGATION
You don't have to know where to start.
When someone reaches Freebird, they may be dealing with housing, court, children, finances, safety, emotional trauma - or all of it at once.
Freebird helps survivors identify what they need, understand available options and connect with appropriate resources and professionals.

3. CHILDREN & FAMILY SUPPORT
Domestic violence affects more than one person.
Children don't have to be physically harmed to be affected by violence at home.
Freebird helps families connect with resources that support children, parents and caregivers as they begin
rebuilding stability together.
Support can include:

4. FREEBIRD VETERAN INITIATIVE
Healing Veterans. Strengthening Families. Breaking Cycles.
Veterans and military families can experience domestic violence, intimate partner violence, sexual trauma and other forms of abuse complicated by the realities of military life.
Through the Freebird Veteran Initiative, we help Veterans and families identify specialized resources while creating pathways toward healing, stability and independence.

5. EDUCATION & PREVENTION
If we want to change the future, education has to begin before the crisis.
Freebird believes domestic violence prevention starts with understanding what unhealthy relationships actually look like.

MENtoring Young Men
Freebird's MENtoring initiative focuses on helping boys and young men understand respect, accountability, boundaries, healthy relationships and the responsibility they have in shaping the culture around them.
Survivor Education
Helping survivors recognize patterns of abuse, understand their experiences and know that education itself can become the first step toward change
6. WOMEN SUPPORTING WOMEN
Connection can change someone's trajectory.
Women Supporting Women brings survivors, professionals, mentors, community leaders and women who have rebuilt their own lives into a network designed around encouragement, opportunity and connection.
This isn't therapy.
It isn't a support group in the traditional sense.
It is a community
A woman may come looking for:
• A mentor
• A career connection
• Advice
• Confidence
• A professional introduction
• A friend
• Proof that rebuilding is possible
Eventually, the woman receiving support today may become the woman offering it tomorrow.
From Survivor To Leader
This is where Freebird becomes different.
Most organizations naturally focus on crisis - and crisis services are essential.
But Freebird asks another question:
What happens after someone becomes safe?
• What happens when they are ready to work?
• To learn?
• To earn?
• To build credit?
• To pursue a license?
• To start a business?
• To buy a home?
• To lead?
• To mentor another survivor?
That is why Freebird's work doesn't stop at recovery.
We help people rebuild - and create opportunities to rise.

Not everyone follows the same path. But everyone deserves the opportunity to discover what their path could become.
Community Partnerships
We don't try to do everything ourselves.
Strong survivor support requires community.
Freebird works with professionals, businesses, nonprofits, healthcare organizations, educators, attorneys, Veteran organizations, employers and other community partners to help people access the right resources.
